Insurance Marketing Corporation
has been marketing innovative insurance programs tailored to meet
the specific needs of business groups and associations in Michigan
since 1969. We pride ourselves on following the guiding principles
set forth by our founder, Kenneth L. Joiner: honesty, integrity,
and professionalism. He has shown a great ability to give back to
the community through his active involvement in the local Chambers
of Commerce and the Utica Kiwanis Club for over 30 years.
In 1978, Juanita Joiner (affectionately known to
everyone as “Mom”) became involved. Her main function
is the financials for the business, but is involved in every aspect
of the Agency.
In 1982, Steven Joiner joined his parents and expanded
on tradition by building strong relationships with top-rated carriers
and adding our brokerage division, offering our services to independent
agents. Steve has many awards for his business leadership, and for
his services to many Chambers of Commerce, to KIWANIS, the Dale
Carnegie Institute and many other organizations. He is currently
studying for his CEBS (Certified Employee Benefits Specialist) designation.
In 1985, Jeffrey Joiner joined the family business,
adding another tier of professional service to our clients and agents.
He is active as an Ambassador and Board member of the Sterling Heights
Area Chamber of Commerce and is past President of the Kiwanis Club
Sterling Heights High Noon and currently serves the Utica- Shelby
Township Kiwanis.
In 1993, Christopher Joiner graduated to become
part of our growing business. He has become our shining star in
the building of our client base, as well as bringing new marketing
opportunities to our agency.
Our office manager, Melissa Wolverton, has also
been with us since 1993. She originally came to us as a co-op student
and is like a part of the family, as well as a very important part
of our daily operations.
In 2001, Frank Oblak became our only in-house agent.
His main goal is bringing us new clients. With his extensive background
in various businesses, he brings a wealth of insight.
We, along with our efficient and helpful staff, are pleased to be
able to bring better and more cost effective health care benefits
